In the Philippines, CECI first responded to Typhoon Ketsana in 2010 in partnership with Filipino National NGO, Center for Emergency Aid and Rehabilitation Inc. (CONCERN Inc.), a renowned disaster response NGO. With this partnership established, CECI provided assistance to victims of the Bohol earthquake in 2013, typhoon Haiyan in 2014 and typhoon Hagupit in 2015. We continue to partner with CONCERN to restore economic activities and promote sustainable development while raising awareness in communities about environmental concerns and the importance of gender equality.
