Friends of CECI,
As we prepare to end another year marked by many challenges related to the effects of a global pandemic, I would like to salute the resilience of our entire network of colleagues and partners who have been able to adapt and move forward in this difficult and complex context. Without you, CECI's actions in Guatemala would not be possible!
Thanks to this shared task, this year we were able to accompany the economic reactivation efforts of many indigenous women and youth as well as their innovative solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change in their communities; we also collaborated with our partners to provide culturally relevant care to women and girls who are victims of violence, and with the support of our volunteer network we facilitated the exercise of the rights of women and marginalized populations.
On behalf of the CECI Guatemala team, I send you our best wishes for the holiday season, and above all, good health, solidarity and hope for 2022!
