Since 2015, nearly 2,500 people have participated in Canada’s Volunteer Cooperation Program to create change in the Global South and in their own communities in Canada. On January 18th, 2018, 60 volunteers from 15 Canadian volunteer-sending organizations gathered in Ottawa to tell their stories through a unique human library
experience!
Many volunteers of the Uniterra program, by CECI and WUSC, had the opportunity to witness first-hand the contribution of Canadian volunteers to international cooperation. Through volunteerism, each person has the power to affect the sustainable development agenda and to be a partner in building a better, more inclusive, peaceful and prosperous world!
Together volunteers unite Canada and the world!
