Context
Since established in 1987, CECI-Nepal has been on the ground in 66 districts covering all seven provinces of Nepal. It is the most active Canadian international development organization working in the field of economic and social development.
CECI cultivates long-term partnerships with numerous NGOs, cooperatives, private businesses, local, provincial and federal government agencies and departments in support of rural economic development, governance and democracy, gender equality, and improved access to services for women and marginalized groups.
CECI was an actor in the resolution of civil conflict that persisted in Nepal for 10 years.
