The educational guide "Human Rights and Climate Challenges: Towards Resilience" is promoted by the Guatemalan organization Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources and the Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI) as part of an awareness-raising and training campaign for the inclusion of human rights in climate policies at regional, national and organizational levels.
This guide proposes a synthesis of the correlations between inequalities, discrimination, vulnerable groups and the climate crisis. It aims to provide an overview of these concepts, as well as the legal frameworks that underpin them. Finally, it proposes a series of good practices to bridge inequality gaps by providing essential tools and knowledge to build capacity and encourage greater engagement and more conscious and responsible decision-making by sector professionals.
